DO YOU JUST WATCH MOVIES?

The last movie I saw made me cry. Okay, I’m not the emotional type but a movie like ‘Overboard’ will make anyone have mixed feelings.

If you are like me who does analysis, ask questions and arrive at conclusions sometimes logical, and other times sentimental after seeing a movie, accept my warm greetings and welcome on board. Read on and and leave comments below.

From the angle of a movie freak, during and after seeing movies, especially those that relate much with life, politics and living, I get to sit and relate themes and the fictional setting with a real life situation.

Have you seen a movie that made us change our fashion sense, perception about people of a certain race or governmental policies?

From Nollywood blockbusters to Telemundo to American and our ever-dancing Indians, you will all agree with me that movies can be awe-inspiring as they form part of what eventually change our perspective about life.

Concepts like distrust, loyalty, violence, love and every other aspect of life are unmasked. Sometimes, the climax moves you to the extent that you develop temporary dislike for the villain who shot at the hero. Some of us even tear up and fume with anger forgetting that it is just fiction; although sensitive to natural phenomenon.

No doubt, movies have some sort of magnetic touch. Unlike music which you can listen to many times before reasoning with the singer, movies take you through some circles of different happenings and practical journeys that make you develop insights and opinions about what you think should have happened or how a certain plan should have turned out if centered on natural circumstances.

We go to the cinema or download the latest movie for different reasons. Sometimes to kill boredom, to let go of hard feelings, or to quench anger. Now let me ask, do you just see movies for the fun of it?

How did you feel about the last movie or series you saw? Did you cry, or sleep took you away before the end? Lol
